The Journal of Knowledge Management and Local Development is a social science publication managed by the Center for Development Management Studies (CEGED) of the Agrarian University of Havana (UNAH). The publication is made for one volume per year with a Continuous Publication system (Rolling Pass). The approved documents are published as soon as the arbitration and conformation processes are concluded, between the months of January-December. It disseminates the work of scholars whose work prioritizes contributions to knowledge management and local development, understood in its economic, political, technological, environmental, social, cultural, and educational dimensions. It welcomes manuscripts addressing topics related to human development, food sovereignty, the environment, science, technological innovation, and the universalization of knowledge in the following formats: research article, review article, short communication, viewpoints, and thesis abstract. It is an open access journal under the CC Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), which does not establish costs for processing, publication, or embargo period.

UNAH, with 50 years of foundation, is a referent for the agrarian sector in Cuba. The event, will gather professionals, promoters and people interested on Agricultural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Educational Sciences, Physical Culture Sciences, Economical and Social Sciences. It has the objective of sharing experiences from innovation, to foster and favor integration for the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Objectives of the Agenda 2030 and the approach: One Health.
