Abstract

The modern world is experiencing radical changes in politics, economy and in the social sphere; Knowledge and innovations are becoming the essential basis of development. Education contributes to solving the problem of reproduction of "human capital", focusing on increasing the social responsibility of students. They are today the drivers of the socioeconomic development of the region, which is why the internationalization of education is relevant. One of the priorities of the Kazan Innovative University (KIU) strategy is the "third mission", which seeks to establish an integrative relationship between the university and society. The starting point is to instill a culture of social responsibility in young people and students. Strengthening interaction with the Cuban educational community constitutes an important strategic area in the development of international cooperation. "The Third Mission" is implemented through the synergy of mentors and students to carry out various socio-cultural projects. The harmonization of intercultural differences, the search for axiological meanings to build a dialogue of cultures is the basis for the creation and execution of various integration projects between our universities. Apparently, Cuban and Russian students are united in the evaluative understanding of the categories of life, dignity, patriotism, citizenship, humanism and mercy. With a balanced balance between intercultural differences and spiritual and moral commonalities, joint programs are planned. This practice will allow us to overcome various intercultural barriers to carry out effective and mutually beneficial communication. It is proposed to combine the experience acquired and the best joint practices for their application in mutual projects, emphasizing the phenomenon of social responsibility and the spiritual and moral dimension of intercultural cooperation.
