Notes on the mechanization of pruning and harvesting of coconut palms

Abstract

The objective of the study was to identify the methods, equipment and tools for pruning and harvesting coconut trees through the compilation and analysis of the literature related to these tasks. The results obtained allowed defining two methods used at international level for the execution of both tasks, as well as the equipment and tools that integrate them; in addition to examining the current state of the application of modern technologies for their execution.
