Metodología para determinar los parámetros de diseño y construcción de biodigestores para el sector cooperativo y campesino

Abstract
En Cuba los biodigestores constituyen una valiosa alternativa para el tratamiento de los desechos orgánicos generados en las empresas agropecuarias, pues permiten disminuir la carga contaminante, mejorar la capacidad fertilizante del material, eliminar los malos olores y se genera una energía renovable denominada biogás, que es un gas combustible que puede utilizarse para cocer alimentos, calentar agua, generar electricidad, y obtener luz directamente usando lámparas de gas. En la implementación de la estrategia de enfrentamiento al cambio climático elaborada por el Ministerio de la Agricultura de Cuba, se plantea que para la reducción de emisiones, la medida consistente en “Disminuir el consumo de combustibles de origen fósil, con el empleo de fuentes renovables de energía”. En el trabajo se muestra una metodología para facilitar el análisis y cálculo de los parámetros para la construcción de biodigestores de cúpula fija.
