Abstract
El objetivo del presente trabajo fue hallar la variación de la evaporación y evapotranspiración del maíz dentro del ciclo de secado, para establecer los modelos que relacionan la extracción de agua de las plantas de maíz con el desarrollo del cultivo, la masa de paja y la suma de grados días. Existe correlación con la extracción media diaria, para la masa de paja (P) y el índice de área foliar (IAF) solamente. La extracción de agua acumulada del cultivo tiene correlación significativa con la masa de paja (P), la altura de las plantas (Altp) y la suma de grados de la temperatura media diaria (SG).
