diación. Los estudios submicroscópicos realizados entre plantas de suelos no contaminados (A) y plantas de suelos contaminados con metales
pesados (B) mostraron que las altas concentraciones de metales pesados en los tejidos vegetales, pueden traer cambios anatómicos en los tejidos epidérmicos, parenquimáticos y conductores, xilema y floema, que se expresan por un decrecimiento intercelular, pérdida de la forma y tamaño de las células y compactación de los tejidos con pérdida de los espacios intercelulares.
