Las competencias profesionales como categoría integradora de los contenidos a través del modelo de formación profesional de la carrera Ingeniería Agrícola

Abstract
Tomando como base el problema científico planteado en el trabajo, relativo a ¿Qué insuficiencias se ponen de manifiesto en los egresados de la carrera de Mecanización Agropecuaria?, se define como objeto el proceso docente educativo en la carrera, acotándose el campo de acción al Modelo de formación profesional en la carrera de Ingeniería Agrícola de la Universidad de Ciego de Ávila. El modelo se materializa en un plan de estudio con tronco común en los niveles básico y preprofesional mediante disciplinas y Trabajos de Curso y de Diploma en el nivel profesional, el cual se estructura mediante los Procesos Tecnológicos en los diferentes Sistemas Ingenieriles. La concreción del modelo en este plan de estudio apunta al cumplimiento del objetivo trazado y le confiere una indiscutible significación práctica al trabajo.
