Abstract
Para enfrentar el fenómeno de las inundaciones resulta imprescindible realizar análisis hidrológicos a escalas pequeñas de tiempo en muchos de los casos a escala horaria. Esto dificulta los estudios, debido a la necesidad de contar con mediciones de gastos que satisfagan esta condición. Es por esta razón que este trabajo brinda una propuesta de metodología para enfrentar situaciones con estas características, basado en varios estudios realizados en cuencas cubanas de máxima prioridad nacional.
